T-26 Vermont Ride
Tried out riding with the panniers for the first time today. Loaded up towels and some four pound weights in the bags. The bike is noticeably heavier, but still handles fine, although I was able to craft equal weight distribution with identical loads on each side.

No activity the last few days. Time marches on. Found a bike shop fairly near the airport that may be willing to store our bike boxes while out on the trail.

Today is a rest day. Walked the dog a few miles. Preparation for tomorrow’s meeting with Dan to review accommodations and travel particulars.
Actually, couldn’t stay off the bike so pedaled a quick five mile jaunt to Castle Rock Park.
